Having a successful launch is all about preparation – and there’s no time like the present! Even if your launch is several months away, it’s always a good idea to start preparing as soon as possible. You want your launch to be the best that it can possibly be (and maybe even top your last one!) Here are some of the best ways to prepare for your next launch so that you’re ready to go when the time comes.

Review Your Last Launch

Nothing will give you more intel about what to change and update for the future than your last launch’s figures. Look at the numbers, look at the content, look at what worked, and what didn’t work. Doing this helps you understand better what you need to do next time to make this launch more impactful, more effective, and convert better.

Survey Those That Didn’t Buy

The beauty of email marketing tools is that you can organize a list of those customers that clicked on your sales page, but didn’t purchase. Set up a trigger that those individuals receive an email survey to fill out. (You could even create an incentive here where you could donate $5 to a charity of your choosing on their behalf if they answer it!) The insight from your audience members that didn’t buy is so valuable in helping you tailor your next launch to fit their needs.

Refine Your Content

Make sure you are present in your community, surveying your members, and looking for any updates you can make to your current content. You want your next round of members to get an even better experience, and listening to your current members helps you do that. Tweak and refine your messaging and your content for the next time.

Consider Outsourcing

If you’re starting to get that launch burnout feeling, but you’re ready to continue scaling and growing, it might be beneficial to outsource some of those launch tasks. You can hire copywriters for your email marketing, tech experts for set-up and automations, or even just a launch expert (like myself!) for helping you tackle it all from start to finish. Never underestimate the power of asking for help.

If your next launch is coming up, it’s time to start thinking about preparing for it. This includes things like looking at what you’ve done in the past, gaining insight from current members, and possibly hiring help for the future. There is always room to improve and make your next launch even better than your last!
